Please read these terms & conditions carefully before you book your event. By booking this service, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.
Payment is due at time of booking and must clear within 48 hours to reserve your date. Payment information is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored. Payments can be made via Paypal, Venmo, or CashApp. Arrangements can be made for cash payments. One day notice and same day bookings must be paid for in cash and the $25 rush fee will be added. You will be given instructions on how to make cash payments.
A job is considered a rush job if less than 48 hours notice is given. All efforts will be made to accommodate your request and the following conditions will apply:
- $25 rush fee will be added
- Service will be booked ONLY if yard cards are available. There is no guarantee of availability.
- If for some reason the site you have chosen for your display is not available, you will be given a full refund.
- Only signs currently in stock will be used. No special/themed orders.
Your yard display will be set up either the evening before (5 p.m. - 8 p.m.) or morning of the day requested between (6.a.m. - 9 a.m.) Yard cards will be displayed for at least 24 hours from the morning of booked event, unless removal is requested earlier. Yard cards will picked up the following day between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you need a more specific installation time due to the display being a surprise, please let me know during the booking process.
You may specify where you would like your sign installed but in order to provide the best visibility, accommodate the size of display, and to provide what is most visually appealing, your installation will be done in the best suited area. These displays can be quite long, up to 15 or more feet.
Please do not add anything to the display (balloons or streamers, for example) or mow the yard while the display is up. Please turn off all sprinklers.
Do not allow pets or unassisted small children around the display. If your pet is not friendly, please keep your pet locked up during installation.
Make sure access to your location is not restricted by any gates.
Scene on the Green reserves the right to refuse services to isolated areas or any location considered threatening.
If there are hazardous weather conditions present on the day of your event (severe thunderstorms, lightning, flooding, extreme cold/snow) your display will not be able to be delivered. If hazardous weather conditions are predicted, options can be discussed such as cancellation or rescheduling. A full refund will be given if installation cannot take place due to inclement weather.
Cancellations made the day of scheduled delivery will not receive a refund, except under extreme circumstances. If you cancel the installation of your yard cards within 2 days of your event, you will be refunded your payment minus a $25 restocking fee, as signs will have already been pulled, cleaned and staked ready for transport . You have the option to either reschedule or receive credit for a future installation to avoid losing this payment. Credit is good for 60 days and is transferable to someone else. If you cancel 4 days or more before your scheduled event, a full refund will be given.
Refunds will NOT be given under the following circumstances:
- The homeowner requests a greeting to be removed. If this is a surprise for someone, make sure it is a "pleasant" one.
- Errors are made on behalf of the buyer while placing the order.
- The wrong address is given.
- Inclement weather event happens AFTER installation. Remember...you will have the option to cancel or reschedule BEFORE your event when bad weather is predicted.
- Scene on the Green is denied access to the location due to personal or neighborhood gates.
- Aggressive animals are on the property.
- When criminal activity is suspected or person on property is brandishing a weapon.
- Under any circumstance that physically prevents your property from being accessed or is considered life threatening.
Movement of or tampering with yard cards is strictly prohibited. You will be held responsible for all damages to yard cards and stakes at full value. Payment for damages will be enforced.
Yard cards are meant to be FUN! No greeting that is deemed disrespectful, controversial, lewd, or political will be installed. All efforts will be made to help make revisions but Scene on the Green reserves the right to decline orders others may find offensive. A full refund will be given if an order is declined.
